New Web Searcher 2.0 released. It has several improvements according to the previous version.

Web Searcher 2.0 is able to load keywords from the file.



Options, specific to the search process, now located on the Options tab within Search.

Web Searcher 2.0 is able to load urls from the file, then load web pages for each url and extract emails and links from these web pages.

Options, that describe how to extract and process links, located on the URLs tab.

Extracting urls from web pages is a new feature in Web Searcher 2.0, that was not implemented in old version.

The "Load extracted URLs" option allows to extract data not only from one found (or loaded) web page, but also from all linked web pages. To extract data from one web site only check the option "Extract URLs from the same domain only".

Emails tab contains the options that allow to extract emails from web pages.

Web Searcher can use HTTP(s) and SOCKS(4/5) proxies.

"Filter URL Rules" and "Filter Title Rules" allows to filter extracted links.

It is good idea to discard URLs with non-html-or-text content: images, executables, etc.

Web Proxy Checker Pro allows you to detect anonymous proxies. Turn on "Check for anonymity" option and select required level: "decline transparent proxies" or "only elite proxies allowed". "Anonymity check URL" - url of the script that returns HTTP request headers.

Email address verification

Mailing list is the most important thing of any direct mail campaign. Quality mailing list will bring you a ton of success, and a bad one will not. It is very important to keep your email list clean and deduped.

Every email address must be correctly formatted and email domain must exist.

Syntactically correct email address

1. A valid email address contains only letters (a-z), numbers (0-9),
hyphens (-), underscores (_), periods (.) and only one 'at' sign (@).
2. Valid email address must begin with a letter or a number.
3. There must be at least one '.' character in the email address.
4. There must be at least one character before the '.' and at least one character after it.
5. Valid email domain must end with a character (a-z).

Opt-In List Manager has the Extract and clean feature that allows you to quickly sort and dedupe your mailing list, verify email addresses and leave only well-formed emails. Additionally it's able to remove email addresses from domains starting with a number and from domains ends with an invalid top-level domain.

Email domain verification

The best way to verify if an email address is real without sending actual email is to verify that there is a mail server registered to the email domain.

Verify Domains feature of Opt-In List Manager performs an MX (or A) record lookup for every email address from your mailing list and exclude emails from non-existent domains. Additionally it can try to connect to mail server (Try Connect option) and verify the SMTP greeting (Check SMTP greeting option).

Another great function in Opt-In List Manager is country-based email filtering. To determine the country by IP address of email domain it can use the local ip to country database or perform WHOIS request to whois.arin.net service. You can keep or exclude country specific email domains by checking the appropriate check box in Verify Domain and entering two-digit country code (for example, US is for United States).

Web Searcher 1.1 released

Web Searcher is a new program to search in Google and MSN for keywords. It allows you to extract links and titles from the search engines and check the positions of your web pages in the search results.

How it works

1. Perform Google or MSN search for specified keywords.
2. Repeat steps 3-6 for each result page.
3. Extract all urls and titles from the page.
4. Filter out search engine related links (cached pages, about, etc.).
5. Filter urls and titles according to the Extract URL Rules and the Extract Title Rules.
6. Save urls, ranks (positions in the search result) and titles to the output file.

Example: find the position of your website in Google for keywords: seo, optimization, google.

1. Run Web Searcher.

2. Enter "seo optimization google" into keywords field.

3. Enter the path to the output file.

4. Turn on Out ranks and Out titles checkboxes.

5. You can split output file into smaller size files with specified number of lines by setting the Results per file value.

6. Check Google item in Search Engines list, leave MSN item unchecked.

7. Turn on the Extract URLs from checkbox and set the top search results to 1000.

8. If you want to find only the first link to your site in the search results,
select Extract 1 first URLs.

9. On Extract URL Rules tab select Discard all URLs that not contain Accept URLs strings or contain Discard URLs strings and enter your site (for example: optinsoft.net) to the Accept URLs list.

10. Turn on Write results to log.

11. Press Start button.

How to: Create embedded image in Gmail

How to: Separate emails by country

To separate emails by country use Separate List feature of Opt-In List Manager.

1. Select the file to separate and the output directory. Then select how to arrange output list:

• separate by domain and sort alphabetically within each domain;
• separate by domain and randomize within each domain;
• randomize the whole list.

2. Turn on option "Create a Separate File For Each Country Code".

3. You can create separate files for each of specified domains.

4. Press "Start" button.
